It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Gilbert Pierre St. Amand, age 83, of Fayetteville. Mr. St. Amand passed away Saturday at his residence.

Mr. St. Amand was a native of Hamlin Plantation, Maine. He was the son of the late Victoria Marie Bois and David Alexander St. Amand. He was a farmer and carpenter and a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Dianne St. Amand, children David St. Amand, Rebecca St. Amand, Gary St. Amand, Wayne St. Amand, Lynn St. Amand, grandchildren Austin Gibson, Olivia Gibson, and Tristin Gibson. Along with is parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kail St. Amand.

A memorial mass is will be Friday May 30th at 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from noon until dusk on Friday in his garden at 410 1st Avenue, Fayetteville.
