Funeral service for George Edward Henderson, age 74 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday at 11 am at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. John Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Henderson passed away Thursday at his residence.
A native of Giles County, TN, he was the son of the late Soley Leonard and Mattie Florence Ellis Henderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include children Judy Smith of Shelbyville, Randall Henderson of Shelbyville, Christopher Price of Tullahoma, brothers Paul (Jean) Henderson of Lawrenceburg, Steve (Jean) Henderson of Fayetteville, Johnny (Myra Lilly) Henderson of Nashville, sisters Estelle Wright and Linda Norman both of Fayetteville, step-brothers Ricky (Lisa) Massey, Junior (Emma) Massey, and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.

My sincerest condolences to the Henderson family. No matter who we are, losing a loved one in death is painful. The pain and grief we feel never truly goes away..
