Graveside service for Mr. George Black, age 93, of Palm Harbor, FL, will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Black passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in Palm Harbor, FL.

Mr. Black was a native of Savannah, GA, the son of the late George and Jessie Paul Black. He was an Aerospace and Nuclear Engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his son David Black of Smyrna, GA, daughters Susan Wakefield Brian and husband Jim of Sidney, OH, Margaret Black Denning of Pittsburgh, PA, grandson Jason Kenneth Deen and wife Brittany, granddaughters Lara Elizabeth Deen and husband Greg Fatooh all of Sacramento, CA, Jessie Elizabeth Black of Atlanta, GA, great grandchildren Caleb Hernandez, Ella Hernandez, Sidney Deen, Jenson Deen and Elliott Deen.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
