Obituary

Memorial services for Gene Paul Duncan, age 67 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Randy Robertson officiating.  Mr. Duncan passed away Friday morning in Huntsville Hospital.

A native of Madison County, AL, he was the son of the late Robert T. and Alice Louise Jones Duncan.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a truck driver for Wal-Mart for 25 years and was a farmer.  Mr. Duncan was a member of the Church of Christ, a Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife Gail Lucio Duncan of Fayetteville, son Dakota (Whitney) Duncan of Fayetteville, step-children DaRosa (Joel) Akers of McMinnville, DaNita (Terry) Lane of Gallatin, Dion (Mickey) Wagoner of Belington, WV, and Dedrick Stephens of Flintville, grandchildren Diesel and Axle Duncan, step-grandchildren Nicholus Vantrease, Nathan Vantrease, Natalie Lane, Ryan Wagoner, Mycala Wagoner, Lyndon Wagoner, and Jillian Stephens.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by twin brothers Gerry and Terry Duncan.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday 11AM-2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
