Obituary

Funeral service for Frank Samuel Lee, age 85, of Taft, TN will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Taft Church of Christ with Bro. Brock Neubauer officiating. Burial will follow in the Blanche Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Tuesday at Taft Church of Christ. 

Frank was born on December 24, 1935, in Los Angeles, CA to the late Clarence Henry and Matilda Cohen Lee. He loved the Lord, reading his bible, would often fill in for pastors on vacation, and was a member of the Taft Church of Christ. Mr. Lee enjoyed flying, watching airplanes, and had his small engine pilot’s license. You often could find Frank “treasure hunting” with his daughter Dorothy at auctions, yard sales, and thrift stores. He was owner and operator of Lee’s Upholstery for many years. Frank passed away on December 11, 2021, at Madison Hospital.

Survivors include his daughters, Janet (the late Mike) Cummings, and Dorothy Lee; grandchildren, Jody Blake Richey (fiancé, Jessica Simpson), Joseph Frank (Amanda) Richey, Justin Carl (Gabrielle) Richey, Adam Lee Noles, Cody Ryan Noles (Courtney Bruce), and 7 bonus grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Madison (Chris) Wiley, Chancelar Richey (fiancé, Marina), Miles Richey, Clark Richey, Daniel Richey, Logan Noles, Opal Grace Noles, and 4 bonus great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and his beloved dogs, Trixie and Peaches. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Carline Gatlin Lee in 2002; and his second wife, Mary Brown Lee.
