Funeral services for Floyd Harold Brown, age 84 of Petersburg, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Green officiating. Burial will follow in Medium Cemetery. Mr. Brown passed away Monday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Floyd Hershel and Nellie Graham Brown, was a retired MSGT with the US Air Force serving in WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte Vielnascher Brown of Petersburg, three daughters, Gloria Margaret Rahbe of TX, Carin Jeanette Payne of Petersburg, Sharon Diana Johnson of Lawrenceville, GA, sister Marie Jones of Savannah, GA, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by siblings Frank Brown, Johnny A. Brown, Novestia Newell, Edward Brown and Paul Brown.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
