Felix was a great friend from a great family ! I had the honor of being his team mate , a friend of his fathers and a co-worker with his mother ( no better people ) !! I am deeply saddened by his passing. Prayers for the family.
I always enjoyed the time spent with him, he was my brother in Christ & we were double cousins as well. He & my husband shared a close relationship that I loved to watch. I’ll never forget the time he introduced him as “Michael “Dynamite ” Dowell & the congregation laughed. We both will miss him. Sleep in heavenly peace…
Our deepest condolences for the entire family! Praying for the entire family!

Rest well Laverne, suffering no more.
Thanks Lavern for introducing me to some of the best jazz artists of our time. You always had good music to listen to and good conversation. I’ll always keep you in my heart, right next to that smooth jazz:-) Love you always!!
RIP Bear
I am very sad to read if Felix’s passing. Please accept deepest sympathies.
He and his dad saved me a lot of steps going from Robert E Lee to Charlie Bagley football practice.
Felix was a great guy and I am proud to have been his teammate for the 1971 Central High Tigers. A great athlete and an even better person. Blessings to Felix and prayers to his loved ones.
Brother you will be missed
