Erline’s joie de vivre was matched by her geniality, compassion, and age-defying energy. She was married to my mother’s first cousin. I was honored to spend a day with the inimitable Erline in 2016 as she generously shared her memories, photos, and history of our Patrick ancestors and her family, as well as information about her impactful life in Fayetteville. Blessings to her family.

She was a great teacher..one of my 8th grade teachers. She encouraged us to expand our horizons, and to pursue our dreams. She was a classmates mother, so she had double duty. I am a better person because of her influence.
