Dixie, I am heartbroken to hear about Ellen’s passing. I have such great memories of her she could always make you laugh…A few months back I saw an old picture of me, Ellen, Lee and Jimmy Barnes covered in oil where we had been changing my transmission out. Of course Ellen started slinging the oil and the fight was on…
    She will be missed.

I was heartbroken to hear of Ellen’s death, and also heartbroken that we lost touch so many years ago. I had not seen her or heard from her in many years. She was a member of my graduating class and a good friend. She had a loving heart and was always ready to help anybody needing help. She was truly blessed with the gift of gab. She never stopped talking. She loved wild colored nail polish. We never knew what color to expect from day to day. Those are some of my fondest memories of her. Her death at 59 years old should be a reminder to us all that we need to have everything made right with the Lord as we know not when the hour of our own death may come. God bless the family.
