Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Elinor Davis, age 76 of Prospect, TN, will be conducted at 3 PM Tuesday at Prospect Cemetery in Prospect with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Mrs Davis passed away Saturday at Donalson Care Center and will be burried beside her husband Mr. Thomas Howard “Tommy” Davis.

A native of Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Rachel Harwell Bass. She was retired form the Giles County Clerk’s Office and was a member of the Prospect Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Dr. Diane Davis Frost and husband Ken of Corsicana, TX, daughter Debbie Davis Foster and husband Graham of Fayetteville, grandchildren Dr. Bess Frost and husband Erik Hunter, Rachel Frost, Will Pardon and Davis Pardon, great-grandchild Charlotte Hunter and sister Carol Burks of Unionville, TN. She was preceded in death by brother Billy Bass.

Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 4-7 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of donations memorials maybe made to the Highland Rim School Library.
