Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Storey Coggin, age 94, of McBurg will be conducted Friday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with burial to follow in Wright’s Cemetery beside her husband George Coggin who died in 1989. Mrs. Coggin passed away Wednesday morning at her residence.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Earl and Estill Crane Storey. Mrs. Coggin was a farmer, homemaker and a member of the McBurg Church of Christ.
Survivors include her nephew Dwight Storey and wife Rachel of McBurg, three nieces Shirley West of Winchester, Wendy Bryant of Murfreesboro and Deborah Thompson of McBurg, three great great nieces Abby Thompson, Laura Bryant and Lucy Thompson.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
