Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Griffin Holland, age 90, of the Hot Rock Community will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Smith and Bro. Roger Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Blanche Cemetery beside her husband Mack Holland who passed away in 1988. Mrs. Holland passed away Tuesday morning in Donalson Care Center after a long illness.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Ordie Dee and Lela Maude Minor Griffin. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Mann and husband Ray of Flintville, Florine Carter Copeland of Shelbyville, daughter-in-law Wilma Holland of the Hot Rock Community, grandchildren Darren Holland and wife Missy, Teddy Holland and wife Lindsey, William Carter and wife Tammy, Scotty Mann and wife Nickie, Tracy Dunn and husband Mickey, Shawn Mann and wife Tina, Leann Carter Body, Jason Hambrick, Stanley Mann and wife Kim, 25 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her husband Mack Holland, daughter Maxine Hambrick Scott and son Ronnie Holland.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
