Funeral service for Mr. Edwin Grant Simms age 87, of Tullahoma, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. David Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. Simms passed away Friday evening at Life Care Center of Tullahoma.

A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Simms was the son of the late David F. and Bertha Ramsey Simms, retired from Micro-Craft, served in the Army in World War II and was a lay minister of the Baptist Church. Mr. Simms was also an avid gardener.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years Winnie Honea Simms of Tullahoma, Son Robert Simms and wife Sandie of Tullahoma, daughter Brenda Simms Sons and husband David of Estill Springs, grandchildren Bill Moore, Crystal Hall, James Michael Lemmons, 3 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friend Katherine Tillman.

Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
