Graveside service for Edward Ray Gatlin, age 89 of Dellrose, will be conducted Sunday at 1 p. p. m. at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial will be beside his wife Burnadean Birdsong Gatlin. Mr. Gatlin passed away Thursday night in his Lincoln Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Gatlin was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII and was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include two sons, Eddy Gatlin and wife Cammy and Benny Ray Gatlin all of Dellrose, two sisters Alma Birdsong of Dellrose and Doris Smith of Fayetteville. Mr. Gatlin was preceded in death by grandson Derek Gatlin.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Lincoln Medical Center Endowment Fund, PO Box 637, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
There will be no visitation prior to services.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Gatlin. Ed and his wife Burnadean were wonderful people. We lived on Bee Spring Rd. and loved talking with Burnadean every chance we got. Usually at Wal Mart.
