Funeral service for Ms. Edith Worden, age 88, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 4 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bishop Ryan Kuster officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.

Edith was born on February 12, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Ernest and Edith Jarvis Gregory Reader. She worked as a LPN at the old Lincoln County Hospital and retired in 1993. Ms. Worden had a servants heart and loved caring for people. She also enjoyed solving word search puzzles. Edith passed away on June 12, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Darlene) Worden of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Becky (Josh) Dollar, Joseph Morgan (Stephanie) Worden, Jacqueline Pool, Regina Pool, and April Pool; and several great-grandchildren and friends. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Lee Worden; daughter, Linda Lee Stewart; grandson, Robet Edward Worden, Jr.; and brothers, Ernest, Don, and Merlin Reader.

Visitation with the family will be from 2 PM until 4 PM on Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
