Funeral service for Mrs. Edith May Wallace, age 92, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wallace passed away on October 4, 2018 at Lincoln Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband of 77 years, Clay Houston Wallace; children, Lance (Shirley) Wallace of Fayetteville, TN, Danny (Brenda) Wallace of Dunlap, TN, and Clada (Ronald) Warf of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, Adrian Hollaway, Amber Gentry, Nicole King, Dana Lawson, and Anita Sims; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sarah Wallace; and sister, Jo Robertson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rosa Bunn May; son, Ronnie Wallace; grandsons, Scotty Wallace and Brandon Warf; brother, Bud May; and sister, Lora Lee Sheppard.
Visitation with the family will be held at 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Edith May Wallace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

I hate to hear about Mrs Wallace. Mr Clay and family so sorry for your loss. I alway enjoyed seeing Mrs Walallace and talking with her. I know she will be missed. May God give you all comfort in the days to come.
