Obituary

Earl Mack Bryant, age 96, of Marietta, GA passed away on June 1, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Petersburg, TN on October 22, 1929, the fourth child of seven children. He joined the United States Army Air-Corp, which later became the United States Air Force. Earl Mack married Billie Jo Massey of Petersburg, TN, on October 21, 1954. She was the love of his life. They raised a family of four children. Some of their happiest memories were being stationed around the world at various military air bases.

After serving 21 years in the United States Air Force he retired and began a second career at Lockheed-Martin in Marietta, GA. Earl was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His strong faith was the foundation for every aspect of his life and he was a current member of the Piedmont Road Church of Christ in Marietta, GA. He served in many capacities in the church of Christ throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Billie Jo Bryant, his four children, KaRen (Mike) Coffman of Woodstock, GA, Greg (Sharon) Bryant of Cleveland, TN, Gary (Melissa) Bryant of Cumberland Furnace, TN, and Kelly (Greg) Buchanan of Collierville, TN.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Meggan (Ricky) Brant, Jesse (Aubree) Coffman, Lincoln Bryant, Taylor Bryant, Jordan (Jill) Coffman, Nick (Ashley) Bryant, Charly Bryant, Logan Buchanan, Patricia (Dante) Moreno, Courtney (Evan) Wolff, Dillon Bryant, and Will (Josie) Buchanan.

Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren:

Cooper, Eli, and Mack Brant

Paisley and Mason Bryant

Emelia and Callum Moreno

Earl also leaves behind an older sister, Marie Tucker of Fayetteville, TN a younger brother, Ron Bryant of Kelso, TN, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

“Pop’s” passing leaves a huge void in all the names listed here and many others. His witty, outgoing, selfless, calm nature will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, US, on June 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Funeral Service will take place at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, US, on June 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

Graveside service will be at 11 am on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Talley Cemetery in Petersburg, TN.

Mr. Bryant is in the care of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is also privileged to offer care, comfort, and support to the Bryant family.

    So sorry to hear of the passing of Mack. He was such a sweet man. My granddaddy Banks Bryant was a brother to his daddy. When I was younger we would visit them. We loved all of Mack’s brothers and sisters.
    Prayers for all the family. Wish we could have been at the burial but we were out of town.
