Funeral services for Mr. Dwight Wayne Williams, age 60, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 3 PM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williams passed away Tuesday evening at Lincoln Medical Center.
A son of the late Leon Williams and Josie Thrasher Burton, he was in paint and body work, an artist, and a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include his daughter Holly Stovall and husband Todd of Huntland, step-son Brad Sullivan of Estill Springs, grandchildren Zachary and Natalie Stovall, sister Judy Hurt and husband Johnny of Fayetteville, step-brothers Charlie and Larry Burton both of Fayetteville, step-sister Peggy Cowan of Fayetteville, and special friend Barbara Sullivan of Fayetteville.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents Leon Williams and Josie Thrasher Burton, brothers Leonard, James and Jerry Williams, step-father Claude Burton and step-brothers Jack and Bob Burton.
Visitation with the family will be from 2-3 PM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home.
