Mrs. Dovie was one of my favorite people. She was an absolutely beautiful person inside and out. I enjoyed each time we would talk. She was a wonderful customer and loved having her yard in order. I will miss her so much and I know her family will grieve her loss for a very long time. My prayers for each of you.

Prayers for the entire family. I have many memories of working with Dovie at Health Inn when the Barnett’s owned and operated the nursing home. That strong southern belle drawl and always with those cupid bow lips is etched in my memory forever. She was always quick witted and many times we laughed till we cried. She sure was a special lady.

My heart breaks for all of us who knew and loved Dovie. Dovie and I shared a desk and a tiny office for 8 years at what was then Health Inn. There was never a harsh word or a disagreement. She was a kind and sweet person, a compassionate and very knowledgeable nurse, and a loving wife and mother. I will miss her dearly.

I pray for strength and peace for her family during this difficult time.

One of my most precious customers at the Estée Lauder Counter at Goody’s Department Store. Always so sweet and nice and caring. I remember her calling me and saying she wanted me to pick her out some pretty tops and have them ready cause she was coming during her lunch. I never minded being her personal shopper and helping her with her cosmetics. She always reminded me of Elizabeth Taylor with her beauty and charm. I will surely miss you and thank you for not just being a customer but for being a dear friend❤️🙏
