Funeral services for Douglas Leonard Young, age 72 of Fayetteville, will be conducted
Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 11 AM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery beside his wife Edna Barham Young. Mr. Young passed away Friday October 9, 2015.
He was a native of Memphis, TN and the son of the late Thomas Rivers Young and Katherine McGinnis Young who survives. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, was in business management and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include son Brandon (Jessica) Young of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Harper and Rivers Young.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends of the Library or the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.

I was friends with both your Mom and Dad. They were both great people. My heart goes out to you in your loss.
This may not be the place for this but since your Dad was a Marine, we need his picture for the Warrior (Veterans Tribute) Project.

Doug served as General Manager with
Network Industries for over 25 years.
He was an excellent manager
and administrator and a valuable friend.
We are all saddened at his passing.
Our thoughts are with Brandon and Jessica.
