Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Fred Clendenon, age 46, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11AM Wednesday at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 1:00pm in Center Hill Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Mr. Clendenon died Sunday night in St. Thomas Hospital. A native of Akron, OH, he was the son of Fred Wayne Clendenon who survives and the late Mildred Ella Dillmore Clendenon. Mr. Clendenon was a soil scientist with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service and a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his father include his wife Judy Darlene Turnbo Clendenon of Fayetteville, son Kyle Clendenon and daughter Callie Clendenon both of Fayetteville and one brother Gary Wayne Clendenon of McMinnville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8PM at Fayetteville First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of services for Mr. Clendenon. Visitation in McMinnville will be Thursday from 10am until 1:00pm at High Funeral Home.
