Dot was my Mother’s friend when they were younger and became a closer friend to me as I have grown older. It has been a beautiful journey. Rest in peace “sweet lady”.

I first knew Dot when I was a little girl and our family attended Kirkland Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ. Then as a teenager she taught me how to apply Merle Norman cosmetics. After owning Merle Norman Cosmetics in Fayetteville for 48 years, my daughter, Katie, and I purchased the business from her in 2012. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. She will be missed.
