Obituary

It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Dorothy Dorociak, age 93, of Elora, TN. Mrs. Dorociak passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Donalson Care Center.

Mrs. Dorociak was a native of Hammond, IN, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Blanck Clark. She was a billing clerk for the Water Department in Hammond, IN, also worked for the City of Hammond Police Department and was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a Senior Regent Officer for the Women of the Moose, was very active in the Hammond Women’s Jackson Club and Hammond Democratic Party.

Survivors include her sons Lawrence Dorociak, Randall Dorociak and wife Carol, sister-in-law Janet Clark Pavelka and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank, brothers Bill, Robert and wife Shirley, Ronald and sister Sharon.

No services are planned at this time.

Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mrs. Dorothy Dorociak.
