Obituary

Funeral services for Dorothy Bennett, age 74 of Flintville, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Bennett passed away Friday morning in Donalson Care Center.

A native of Lincoln County, TN, Mrs. Bennett was the daughter of the late William Curtis and Dora Eunice Spray Bates. She was a wife and loving mother and a member of the Corders Crossroads Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Billy Bennett of Flintville, two daughters Teresa Massey and husband Joel of Taft, Felica Spray and husband Derrick of Fayetteville, two sons Kevin Bennett of Flintville, Michael Harper and wife Esther of Birmingham, two sisters Conda Ruth Evans and Shirley Curlee both of Fayetteville, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday 6-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
