Obituary

Funeral service for Doris Salters Jones, age 77, of Flintville, TN, will be conducted Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Martin officiating.  Burial to follow beside her husband Mr. Wesley Jones in New Sharon Cemetery. Mrs. Jones passed away July 11, 2017 at her residence in Flintville, TN.

Survivors include her sons, Randy and Adam Jones both of Flintville, TN; daughters, Diane (David) Clark of Hazel Green, AL and Janie (Ricky) Mitchell of Petersburg, TN; brother, Grover Salters of Hazel Green, AL; half brothers, Jim, Wayne, Randall, and Thomas Salters all of Pulaski, TN; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way; and special friend Don Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Jones; father, Archie Salters; mother, Cordie B. Salters; and sisters, Opal Webb and Carlene Holt.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 5 until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Jones.

    So Sorry to hear about Doris. She worked for myself and Joe at Blue Ridge shirt Mfg. and was such a good hard working women .She wasn’t afraid to do anything .Had such a supportive family. Diane ,Wesley and the rest of the Family .May God wrap his arms around each of you during this most difficult time.God has gained another Angel !
