It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. Donald Ray Stubblefield, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN. Mr. Stubblefield was born October 5, 1945, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Clifton Carter and Hilda Faye Turney Stubblefield. He passed away June 28, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Don started his career as an engineer with Chrysler Automotive, and after many years, mergers, and company name changes, he retired from DRS Technologies in 2011. He enjoyed collecting cars and military memorabilia. Don’s true joy was spending time with his family and attending all of his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

Survivors include his wife of almost 59 years, Patricia Redden “Patty” Stubblefield; daughters, Shari LaFayette and Kristi (Jeff) Nieball; grandchildren, Bradley (Kayla), Andrew, Alex, Jadyn, and Kaylee LaFayette, Kendall and Carter Nieball; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Marley, Mia, McKinley, Addison, and Brystol.

There are no services planned at this time. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to
serve the family of Mr. Donald Ray Stubblefield.
