Of all of the outdoor activities and mischief we shared as kids, the one thing that I fondly and often reflect on is this: Spending the night at each other’s house was far from uncommon. One evening in particular we learned there was to be a massive meteor shower. We asked if we could take sleeping bags to the back porch as the forecast called for clear skies. The shooting stars that night did not disappoint and I have yet to experience such a heavenly phenomena as great. Dondee…you are now experiencing the wonderful eternity in those heavens that we all strive for as we run the race here on Earth in our physical bodies. You shed the failing flesh but still remain YOU and our Lord has promised that we will meet again and spend all our days with Him. Till then, rest easy….you deserve it cousin.
