Graveside funeral service for Donald Edward Flynt, age 91, of Fayetteville will be conducted 3:30 pm Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Prosperity Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Howell will officiate. Mr. Flynt was a native of Lincoln County and son of the late Alva Lee and Ella Mae Cantrell Flynt. A veteran of WW II, and a machine gun operator. He was of the Presbyterian Faith, a member of the VFW, and loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and Halloween.

Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Hayes Flynt; children Ron (Linda) Flynt of Melbourne, FL, Debbie Flynt Norwood of Huntsville, AL, Eddie (Jackie) Flynt and Donna (David) Bland both of Fayetteville, TN; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchild; and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Irene, Viola “Tot”, Ruby, Jewell, Nancy, Alease, Jim and Dorsey.
