Mr. Donald C. Watton, age 73, of Flintville passed away Tuesday December 29th at Lincoln Medical Center.  He was born in England and was an American citizen.  Mr. Watton was a veteran of both the Royal Canadian Navy and the British Navy.  He was an avid dog and nature lover.  He was married to Lorraine Ault Watton for 29 years before her death six years ago.

Survivors include his children, Chris Carr, Tony Watton and Michael Watton all of Wisconsin and Adrian Watton of Fayetteville, step-daughter Janet Green of Flintville, grandchildren Matthew and Micah Carr, Adam, Aaron, Dakota, Nolan, and Garrett Watton, Heather Lang of Nashville, David and Scott Whitlow both of Arkansas, great-grandchildren Killian Lang of Nashville and Alexis Lang of Manchester, several brothers and sisters including brother John Tackett of Kansas and four small dogs.

There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
