I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Don. He and my dad had been friends for so many years that Don felt more like family than a friend. Each time that I saw him, he always asked about my mother and each of my siblings. I pray for God’s strength and comfort for his friends and family in the days ahead. He will truly be missed!

Don and I, Don Reed, grew up together on S. Lincoln Avenue and attended school together.
To distinguish between us, he was called “Big
Don” and I was called “Little Don”. I have many fond memories of him and last saw him at our 50th class reunion. My condolences to the his family. He was a fine human being.

    Mrs. Morrison:

So sorry to hear of the death of Don. I heard on the way to church and now looked it up to make sure it was him. I worked at Amama and he was a friend of Henry’s and mine.

May God put His loving arms around you and comfort you and your family during this very difficult time. I know you will miss him dearly. There will always be a hole in your heart, but with God’s help, it will get easier as time goes by. It will just take a lot of time.

    God bless you all,
    Sincerely, Katie Womack
