Funeral services for Mrs. Delia Mae Tucker Johnson, age 85, of Kelso will be conducted at 2 PM Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery beside her husband Elvin Johnson who passed away in 1988. Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday morning at her residence.

A daughter of the late Dick and Josephine Bowden Tucker, she was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children Betty Jo Jones, Margaret Koonce, Vivian Roland, Judy Schmidt, Martha Ann Medley, Becky Pierce, David Johnson, Darlene Allen, and Terry Jo Johnson, grandchildren Glen, Lisa, Chris, Shannon, Melissa, Donna, Connie, Junior, Danny, Pete, Jackie, Teresa, Tonya, Michelle, Tina, Jeffery, Janice, Jonathon, Shelia, Lee, Micheal, Davy, and Michelle, and many beloved great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Lee Earl Johnson, infant son Elvin Johnson, Jr., brothers T.J. and James Tucker, and sister Taff Franklin.

Mrs. Johnson’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Sunday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
