Mr. David Paul Payne, age 64, of 408 East Washington Street, Fayetteville passed away at his residence on Wednesday February 24, 2010.  Born in Waynesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edwin Payne and Jane Furnas Payne who survives.  Mr. Payne was a veteran of the United States Air Force and an electrical engineer with the Missile Defense Command of the Department of Defense at Redstone Arsenal.

Mr. Payne is survived by his wife: Michal Denowitz Payne of Fayetteville, his mother: Jane F. Payne of Chillicothe, OH, a son: David Paul Payne II and wife Heather of Annapolis, MD, a daughter: Sandy Payne of Annapolis, MD, four grandchildren: Madison, Ella, Josh and Riley,  two sisters: Debbie Elston and husband Dave of Greensboro, NC, and Jenifer Maxson  and husband Paul of Visalia, CA, five brothers: Dr. Edwin Payne and wife Cheryl of Lancaster, OH, James Payne and wife Leslie of Winchester, VA, John Payne and wife Julie of Chillicothe, OH, Joseph Payne and wife Linda of Greenville, OH and Tom Payne and wife Jane of Marysville, OH and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for David Paul Payne will be conducted by Family and Friends at a later date.
