It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mr. David Latimer Harrison, age 78, of Gallatin, TN. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Fayetteville First Baptist Church. A reception will be held immediately following the service next door at the First United Methodist Church fellowship hall. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Harrison.
David was born on January 13, 1942 in Union City, TN to the late Eugene Hudson and Mildred Virginia Smith Harrison. He worked as a residential home builder and was a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Mr. Harrison passed away on January 13, 2020 at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation of Fayetteville.
Survivors include his sons, Mark David (Karen) Harrison and Chad Delap (Rebecca Shaw) Harrison; grandchildren, TJ Glover, Haley Harrison, Cainan Harrison, Caiah Collier, Chris Harrison, and Zoe Harrison; and siblings, Gene Smith Harrison, Jane Harrison Pennington and Betty Virginia Harrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Robert Harrison.
