    Mrs. Martha and Marie,
I was so sad to read about Mr. Bryan. I have the fondest of memories from childhood when ya’ll would come to our house or when we would visit with you in Nashville. From my childlike perspective, I always thought Mr. Bryan was so kind because he would give me jars of Noxema before I would leave. I hope your happy memories will sustain you through the coming days and weeks. All of you were certainly dear friends of my parents and that never changed even years when you hadn’t seen each other.
