Obituary

It is with regret that we announce the passing of David Alan Beddingfield, age 69, of Fayetteville, TN. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Barnes Cemetery with Bro. Joe Wayne McGee officiating. There will be no visitation with the family prior to the service.

David was born February 16, 1952, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Dan Austin and Flara Yvonne Tripp Beddingfield. He worked in grocery retail for over 20 years at Albertson’s and retired after more than 20 years as a manager at Wal Mart. David loved to read, westerns, and was an avid coin collector. He passed away December 13, 2021, at his home.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa (Allan) Higgs of Fayetteville; son, Chris Beddingfield of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, A.J. (Bea) Beddingfield, Ryan (Destiny) Kinsey, Piper (Kylie) Higgs, and Lilly Higgs; great granddaughter, Maddilyn Kinsey; sisters Brenda Partain of Fayetteville, and Dianne (Larry) Harrell of Murfreesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Dollar Beddingfield.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, Donation Processing Center, PO Box 11039, Lewiston, ME 04243-9409.
