It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Darren W. Huffman, age 55, of Fayetteville. Mr. Huffman passed away Saturday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Mr. Huffman was a native of Lincoln County, the son of Jo Anne Pitts Huffman and the late Bobby Gene Huffman. He worked for Challenger Boats.

Along with his mother, Mr. Huffman is survived by sister Anne Marie Baker, nieces Heather Staiger, Kacey Baker, Amanda Baker and Justin Marie Marohn, aunts Aileen (Dave) Nielson, Margie Walker, Sarah Pitts, Gracie Pitts, uncle David (Shirley) Pitts, 11 great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

There are no services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Medical Center or the Hope Lodge.
