Memorial service for Mr. Danny Joe Malone, age 66, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 3 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Mr. Drew Smith officiating.
Mr. Malone was born on May 29, 1951 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Deward “Shorty” and Edith Malone. He served in the United States Marine Corps. After his separation from the military, he worked in Iraq and Afghanistan building living quarters for soldiers currently still serving there. He loved UT football, fishing, and his wife of 21 years, Brenda Neely Malone. Danny passed away on September 19, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda, and a host of special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dickey and Duffey Malone, and in-laws, Clay and Merle Neely.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
There will be a time of fellowship immediately following the service at Elaine Bradley’s home, 270 Bobo Section Road, Hazel Green, AL 35750. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Malone.

I am so sorry to hear of Danny’s death. He was a dear person, whom I remember fondly from decades past. May peace be with his wife and other loved ones.

Danny was my neighbor and even though quite a few years older always had time for us little kids. Remember when he went to serve our country. He will be missed. Prayers for the family.

A neighbor from Third Avenue in the 50’s and 60’s and a fellow student from Charlie Bagley, Robert E. Lee and graduate of Central High School in 1969. Always kind and a friend to me during those years. God Bless the memory of Danny Joe.
