Funeral services for Mrs. Clyta Belle Pickett George, age 81, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, September 12, at Higgins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband Clyde Thomas George who passed away in 1993.  Mrs. George passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2009, at Donalson Skill Care Center.

A daughter of the late William and Lela Mae Smith Pickett, she was a native of Lincoln County, formerly employed as a nurse tech at Donalson Care Center, and attended the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters Pamela Quijano of Fayetteville and Vickie Buchanan of Banning, CA, sons Tommy George of Savannah, GA and John George of Fayetteville, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and sister Reba McCool of Fayetteville.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Friday evening, September 11, at Higgins Funeral Home.
