Funeral services for Clayton Thomas Holder, age 85 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Holder passed away Wednesday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.
A native of Madison County, AL, he was the son of the late Donald Curtis and Veta Velva Saddler Holder. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from Genesco and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Sara Whitaker Holder of Fayetteville, son Gregory Holder and wife Sherry of Fayetteville, daughter Greta Carlisle and husband Dean of Meridianville, AL, brother Donald Curtis Holder and wife Evelyn of Clarksville, TN, two sisters Estelle Marie Lucia husband Jim of Lavonia, MI, Ailene Johnson and husband Parks of Fayetteville, grandson, Barrett Holder of Fayetteville, Mr. Holder was preceded in death by a grandson Devin Holder.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
