Obituary

A life celebration for Cindy Marlene Stamper, age 66, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Don Pierson officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Cindy was born on September 9, 1956, in Gary, IN, to the late Lloyd Fortner and Chirlena Williams Fortner. She loved University of Tennessee sports, was a very talented artist, and enjoyed painting. Mrs. Stamper passed away on February 10, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Survivors include her daughter, Chirlena (Johnny) Kleshinski of Fayetteville; son, Jason Stamper of Fayetteville; grandsons, Travis Newgent, John Kleshinski, and Kevin (Cheyene) Kleshinski; great-grandchildren, four, with two due soon; and a sister, Robin Jones of Fayetteville. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Stamper.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Cindy Marlene Stamper.
