I worked with Cherry during employment with Joe Steele Realty and listened to her sing all over and many times at local resturaunt duringing her sining career. What a beautiful person inside and out and I loved it when she snag “The Rose”. Cherry alsways had a smile and her face a loved everyone. She will be dearly missed.

Cherry impressed me from the beginning when I first met her when I would be doing late school duty and she would pick up Ola and Ena. She was so gracious, positive, and a wonderful follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She put up a valiant fight. Mrs. Gloria Wallis told me about her only missing one Sunday at church when she was having her treatments a few years ago. May God comfort you as only He can do at this time, and take comfort in knowing that Cherry is safe in the arms of Jesus. Because He Lives, Amy S. Osteen

    Dear Dandy, Ola and Ena,
Just remember as we hold you in our hearts and prayers, God holds you in His hands, Cherry is singing in the Heavenly Choir and I can just see her smile. She was always such an inspiration when she was singing, you could see the Joy and Love of God pouring from her.
Ola and Ena, your mother was terrific and sooo very proud of you. Hold tight to your memories of her and know that each time a star twinkles in the heavens, she is smiling down on you.

I realize what a great loss this is for all of you. I will never forget 22 years ago when I met Cherry. She had a huge heart, was so kind, and she sounded like an angel when she sang. She will truly be missed – but know she is in your heart,, and will watch over all of you every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
