Funeral services for Mr. Charles Woodard, age 71, of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff May  and Bro. Jim Mickells officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Cemetery. Mr. Woodard passed away Tuesday morning at his residence.

He was a native of Lawrence County, TN and a resident of Lincoln County for more than 50 years. He was the son of the late Robert Herman and Ilar Pearl Haggood Woodard. Mr. Woodard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, former fireman, and salesman and a member of the Elk Valley Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Jean Askins Woodard, three sons Steve (Lana) Woodard of Tullahoma, TN, Gary (Lorrie) Woodard of Madison, AL and Scott (Tammie) Woodard of Huntsville, AL, seven grandchildren Ashley, Rachel, Rebekah, Alanna, Erin, Anna, and Sarah.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
