Obituary

Funeral service for Mr. Charles William Brown, age 91, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Billions and Bro. Don Gatlin officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brown passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Donalson Care Center.

Mr. Brown was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Max B. and Willie Maie Thomas Brown. He was a farmer and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters Rita Marie Armstrong and Jo Ann (Arnold) Moffett, son Rickey (Stephanie) Brown all of Fayetteville, sisters Dot Bates of Chester, SC, Marie Boles of Petersburg, TN, Dean Conner of Fayetteville, brother Jerry Brown of Shelbyville, TN, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Bonnie Mae Eslick Brown, son William Edward Brown, grandson Charles Brian Armstrong, sister Myrtle Inez Currin and brother James Thomas Brown.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
