It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Lee Fitch, age 80, of Fayetteville, TN. Private family services were held with burial in Campbell Cemetery.

Charles was born on September 8, 1940 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Roy Gilliam and Cora Mae Andrews Fitch. He worked as a Boilermaker with TVA and was a member of the Boilermaker’s Local Union 455. Mr. Fitch was a charter member of the Camp Blount Historical Society and a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church. He was affectionately known as Pops to his grandchildren and he loved spending time with them on the farm, where they could often be found riding the golf cart and taking breaks. Charles passed away on March 23, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Fitch Daniel, and Denise (Glen) Nunley; son, Dean Fitch all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lindsey Daniel, Deanna Daniel, McKinley Nunley, and Eli Nunley; great-grandsons, Kollin Daniel and Morgan Cowley; brother, Jimmy (Wanda) Fitch; and a sister, Lynda (Fred) Welch. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Fitch; son-in-law, Terry Wayne Daniel; and a brother, Howard Fitch.
