Funeral services for Mr. Charles Curtis Colbert, age 83, of Fayetteville will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Colbert passed away Saturday at Lincoln Medical Center.

He was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Solomon and Naomi Towry Colbert, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in Korea and a former employee of Mobil Oil Company.

Survivors include two daughters Vickie Lynn Weir and husband Randy and Tracey Lee Kendall and husband John all of Fayetteville, two sons Stanley Allen Colbert of Fayetteville and Dwight Curtis Colbert and wife Peggy of Highland City, FL, sister Annie Henderson of Highland City, FL brother Rabon Colbert of Ardmore, TN, seven grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11AM-1PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
