Funeral service for Mrs. Candace King Meeks, age 49, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Friday, December 8, 2017, at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastors Paul Johnson and Gary Solberg officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. Meeks was born on May 21, 1968 in Lincoln County, TN to Jerry Wayne and Emily Joyce Hickson King. She loved animals, music, traveling, and concerts. She was a member of Crystal Ridge Community Church. Mrs. Meeks passed away on December 5, 2017 at Crestwood Hospital.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Lyndon Meeks; brothers, Nathan and Daniel King; grandmother, Janice King; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Meeks; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, S.J. King, Myra King, and Royce and Geneva Hickson, and brother, Jonathan King.
Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 5 PM until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Meeks.

I pray you find comfort and peace in knowing that her pain is no more and she is smiling as always and probably bending God’s ear a bit with a wonderful story about her precious Lyndon as if He didn’t already know you at all. To Candy’s family, On behalf of the LCHS Class of 1987 we are so saddened to learn of her passing. Candy was a joy to be around..always wearing a smile. She loved our class reunions and everytime I saw her she would ask me about the next one. She was fun and loved life. God Bless you all. She will truly be missed.
