Funeral services for Mr. Calvin Koonce, age 73 of Huntley, IL formerly of Fayetteville will be conducted Wednesday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Rodgers officiating.  Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.  Mr. Koonce passed away December 30 at his residence.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Calvin Koonce and Mary Snoddy Rollins.  Mr. Koonce retired from of Russell-Stanley Company at age 62 in 1999 to move back to Lincoln County where he attended of the Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Fotland Koonce of Huntley, IL, daughter Gail (Tim) Sablick of Hawthorne Woods, IL, a son John (Sharon) Koonce of Huntley, IL, grandchildren Kim (Nick) Sablick, Richard (Michelle) Sablick, Shaylin (Justin) Koonce, Samantha and John Koonce, great-grandchildren Taylor Gilmore and Richie Sablick, brothers and sisters  Phillip (Geraldine) Koonce,  Carolyn Rollins,  Mary Rollins Shelton, Steve Rollins, Mitchell Koonce, Terry Koonce, Georgie Koonce, Ann Holder, Amy Cargile and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by Lewis Snoddy.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from noon until 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
