After reading these wonderful tributes to “Dwight” I can only echo that I agree totally with his many friends and students. I always enjoyed speaking with him at the grocery store. Sorry to learn that he was musically talented and I never knew or enjoyed hearing him. His talents are ringing in heaven now! Thank you Dear Lord for his touching so many lives and his friendship. Love to Rachel, girls, and grandchildren.

    Mrs. Storey,
Our prayers are with you and your family at this heartbreaking time. May God bring you the peace you need over the weeks that follow. Mr. Dwight was such an inspiration to myself and my son Brad as he taught at Central Junior high school. I was a first year teacher and Brad was his student. He was so humble and serving to his profession, his students, and to his God. I admired him so. May you take comfort in Christ, knowing Mr. Dwight is with the Father in Heaven waiting for your arrival one sweet day.
God Bless you forever and always,
    Terry and Cheryl Hobbs

Rachel, I am sorry for your loss. I have been there and it is a heart breaking thing to bear. You are a strong person and I know your faith in God will sustain you and carry you through. I am going to be in North Carolina with my brother Paul and his wife and I regret I cannot be at Dwight’s service but I will be with you in spirit and be thinking of you and your family. I love you and I would love to come and see you after you have had some time to get through this. Take care of yourself and just remember Jesus is with you every step of the way. love you maryt

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Storey’s passing. He was one of my teachers at Flintville High School, and even many years after graduation, he continued to remember my name and always stopped to talk when I saw him out. Such a sweet, kind man.
