Graveside funeral service for Mr. Buford Franklin Price, age 88, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Lincoln Cemetery.
Mr. Price was born on August 18, 1929 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Arthur and Dolly Jane Marberry Price. He was a member of the Holiness Church of God and retired as a security guard from Copperweld. Mr. Price passed away on April 3, 2018 at Donalson Care Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Survivors include his children, Patricia (Doug) Crews, Martha (the late Lannie) Howell, Freddie (Marlene) Price, Eddie (Jan) Price, Debbie Brandon and friend Phillip McCorkle, Chris (Diane) Price, Ruby (Mike) Edde, and Regina (George) Wolfe all of Fayetteville; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marbery Honea and Sam (Becky) Price. In addition to his parents, and son-in-law, Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Dell Graves Price; daughter, Mary Newgent; and siblings, James Price, Melvin Price, Omia Hemphill, Ruby Cothren and Gracie Spray.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Buford Franklin Price.
Buford, I am crying for your loss, here in south Carolina, Thank you so very much for your friendship and all the pool games and good time we had at the senior center, You will be missed.
