Funeral service for Buddy Dale Stout, age 76, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of Honor.
Buddy was born on October 16, 1946, in Jackson Co., TN, to the late A.D. Stout and Beatrice Keith Stout. He was a graduate of Jackson County High School and served in the US Army. Mr. Stout loved anything football, especially cheering for the University of Tennessee and Lincoln County Falcons. Buddy enjoyed gardening and would often share his harvest with family and friends. Mr. Stout worked for First National Bank in Park City and was a member of the Highland United Methodist Church. He passed away on December 5, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital, in Huntsville, AL.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sandra Flatt Stout; sons, Scotty Stout (Becky West), Mark (Allison) Stout, and Bradley (Ashley) Stout; grandchildren, Abby, Hannah, Cooper, and Emery Stout; brother, Ted Stout; sister, Betty Ruth (Donald) Carter; sister-in-law, Frankie (Jerry) Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Stout.
Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
